About Me
My artwork consists of pencil drawings, pastel landscapes and other works on paper.
My pencil technique started in my first college art class. When given the assignment of studying and experimenting with the style of a favorite master, I chose the pencil and charcoal/chalk drawings of Michelangelo.
I strive for simplicity in both my pencil drawings and my pastel landscapes, which are influenced by American artists George Inness, Charles Warren Eaton and other masters of Tonalism and atmospheric light.
